LAMP-IDE rapid gene screening platform technology

1. Through the detection of individual biological characteristics (especially genetic genes), tailor-made treatments, and rapid effective genetic screening can be used in clinical implementation to become a trend. However, traditional PCR equipment is expensive, bulky, high operational requirements, can only be used in the laboratory and other shortcomings. Based on the clinical pain point of gene detection, the team of academician Patrick Kwan of Monash University in Australia has innovated a platform technology based on LAMP-IDE. Through the LAMP microfluidic technology and the innovative development of cross electrode (IDE) biosensor, this technology converts the chemical characteristics of LAMP amplification into dielectric spectrum characteristics and uses advanced signal processing and artificial intelligent methods for intelligently analyzation of the electrical characteristics to make accurate conclusions, instead of traditional fluorescence detection method and turbidity detection method. It is conducive to product miniaturization, integration, low-cost design, rapid detection, simple operation requirements, and convenient clinical medical application.

2. The platform technology includes reagent development technology, chip test paper development technology, and handheld detection instrument development technology.
